El año pasado como en esta epoca tuve la suerte de ir a New York. Fue un viaje espontaneo que se dio gracias a que una de mis primas vino de visita desde El Salvador y deseaba conocer la ciudad. El viaje fue de un dia y lo unico que lamento fue el clima, ya que estaba haciendo mucho frio, nublado y por la tarde tubimos lluvia. Aparte de eso estubo bien, tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a Manhattan, Central Park, y un poco de el Barrio Chino, que fue donde queriamos comprar algunos recuerditos.
Ojala y se me pueda dar la oportunidad de ir otra vez, sobre todo en verano y con mas tiempo.
Desde donde yo vivo en Virginia toma aproximadamente 4 horas llegar a New York, esa es la razon por la cual ir por solo un dia no vale la pena aparte que es bien cansado.

Last year around this time I had the opportunity to go to New York. It was a spontaneous trip that happened thanks to one of my cousins that came to visit from El Salvador and wanted to see the city. The trip was only for one day and the only thing that I was not happy with was the weather since it was cold, foggy and it rained. Other than that, everything was fine. We got the chance to go to Central Park, Manhattan, and Chinatown in which we wanted to get some souvenirs. Hopefully and I can be able to go again, this time with a good weather and mostly time. From where I live in Virginia it takes approximately 4 hours to get to New York, that it is the reason why going only for one day it is not worth it, besides that it is very tiredly. I share some pictures that I took through my phone.
Last year, around September we have the opportunity to go to
the Niagara Falls. The only thing that I can say is that it was like magic. We
drove from Virginia all the way to Niagara Falls New York, where our hotel was.
It took around 9 hours driving but it was worth it. The first day it was sunny
and the weather was perfect since in September is not that cold and is it not
hot. The next two days started raining but even that we enjoy it.
Because we took our dogs we have to choose a dog-friendly
hotel that was around 10 minutes away from the Falls otherwise I will suggest
choosing the hotels that are nearby so you do not have to pay parking or
transportation. The town is very small but it has a lot of entertainments at
nighttime besides de falls. The other thing good thing is to go to Ontario
Canada that gives the other view of the falls. For that, you need your
passport.
I really recommend going, I think it is one life time
experience, and the connection with nature is incredible.
El año pasado, alrededor de Septiembre tuvimos la
oportunidad de ir a las Cataratas del Niágara. Lo único que puedo decir es que
fue mágico. Manejamos de Virginia todo el camino a Niagara Falls Nueva York,
donde nuestro hotel estaba. Tardamos unas 9 horas en carro, pero valió la pena.
El primer día estaba soleado y el clima era perfecto ya que en septiembre no es
tan frío y no hace calor. Los dos días siguientes comenzó a llover pero incluso así lo disfrutamos.
Nosotros llevamos a nuestros perros, pore so tuvimos que
elegir un hotel que los aceptara y el unico estaba a unos 10 minutos de las
cataratas de lo contrario te sugiero elegir los hoteles que están cerca, así
que no tienes que pagar aparcamiento o transporte. La ciudad es muy pequeña
pero tiene un montón de entretenimiento por la noche además de Cataratas. La
otra cosa buena es ir a Ontario Canadá que da la otra vista de las cataratas,
para eso necesitas tu pasaporte.
Realmente recomiendo ir, creo que es una experiencia que
solo pasa una vez en la voda, y la conexión con la naturaleza es muy bonita.
