Es increíble pensar que cuando tenemos cosas cerca de nosotros es cuando menos las aprovechamos. Es como si no las apreciáramos, por que las tenemos ahí, frente a nosotros. Yo tengo la ventaja de tener varios de los museos mas famosos al rededor del país, a tan solo 20 minutos de mi casa. Muchas personas viajan desde lejos para poder ir a apreciar el Arte que ahí esta. Y lo mejor de todo gratis! osea de Choto! Y aun así no voy tan seguido. Yo trato de ir al menos una vez al año, y mas que todo en el verano. Mi recomendación cuando se va al museo con niños es ir al Museo de Historia Natural, creo que los niños pueden apreciar mucho mas en este museo y también en el Museo del Aire y el Espacio. Al mismo tiempo, el Museo están extenso que en lo personal nunca he logrado cubrir las diferentes galerías que ahí están. Este año fuimos mi hijo y yo a principios de Agosto. En esta época es un poco loco, porque los niños todavía están de vacaciones, y es cuando los padres a aprovechan de llevarlos a lugares como este. Aparte de eso el clima esta bien caliente, y se requiere de muchas ganas para de verdad disfrutar el museo. Siempre que voy al Down Town en Washington DC, prefiero hacerlo vía Metro, por que manejar y lograr un buen parqueo es casi imposible. A la larga creo que se disfruta mas llendo por el tren. Por aquí dejo varias fotos que tomamos este año, muchas de las galerías están diferentes, ellos siempre tratan de cambiar y poner cosas nuevas.
Is incredible to think that when we have things near to us, is when we appreciate less. Is like we do not care, because they are there in front of us. I am very lucky to have some of the museums that are very famous in the country , and they are just 20 minutes from the place where I live. A lot of people travel from far away, just to see the different art that these museums offers, and the best part they are free! and even that I don't go often. I try to go at least once a year, and most of the time in summer time. My recommendation when we go to the museum with kids, is go to the National Museum of Natural History or the Air and Space Museum. At the same time, These museums are so big, that in my case I have never covered every gallery that these museums offer. This year I went with my son at the beginning of August. In this time it is a bit crazy, because the kids are still on vacation, so the parents try to take the kids to this kind of places. Besides that, the weather is hot in this time of the year, so you will have to have a lot of energy to do the trip. When I go to Down Town in Washington DC, I always use the metro, because drive, and find a good spot to park is almost impossible. At the end, I think it is more enjoyable by metro.
